Internet Booking Engine
The Hotel IBE allows you to set-up an e-commerce storefront to create direct sales opportunities to travel agencies, other retailers or end consumers. With the XML interface, the Web-Query offers connectivity to various external systems. The core functionality is the transmission of search requests of hotel rates and data entered through visualFares Hotel Entry or through the import of external data sources. All data is stored in an SQL database. The query screen is customizable. Within the admin area all websettings such as currency, colours, etc. can be set individually for individual users, groups or all user.
The search can be narrowed down with the specification of

» etc.
These specifications are predefined within visualFares Hotel Entry and can be displayed within Hotel Query according to your look and feel.
The results will be shown depending on the hit per property/ properties percentage display e.g. the hotel/s with the highest match in hotel and room facilities will be in the first place. Per search, up to two rooms can be queried.
The number of adults, children and infants per room are determined. In the result screen the price for Room 1 / Room 2 is displayed separately.
By searching for a certain number of persons per room the system checks max. number of persons per room allowed by the hotel and also calculates applicable child reductions. The Query enables the selection between several extras, mandatory or optional extras such as meals, tours, etc.
Booking and Payment can be done either directly in the reservation system for B2B use or with credit card, bank transfer, etc. for end consumer Web pages.

Available hotels are displayed, according to the proportional fulfillment of the selection criteria.
