HitchHiker's visualFares Flight Ticketing & Automator is the powerful application for the automation of air tickets using PC-technology – from reading the PNR, through price calculation up to the preparation of the ticket.

HitchHiker visualFares Flight Ticketing & Automator is the only software that allows the complete automation of air ticket preparation for the vast majority of all net, published and percentage fare tickets.

The visualFares Automator reads the PNR from the Global Distribution System (GDS) and checks it for accuracy. Incorrect PNRs can be queued back to the sender with an explicit error definition. For a correct PNR the visualFares Fare Quoter is started using the data loaded in visualFares Entry. The valid published fare is determined on the GDS and can be used as an alternative to the net fare or to percentage fares, which are based on published fares and are also defined in visualFares Entry.

Further information from the GDS will automatically be added to the PNR according to individual settings, e.g. taxes or the corresponding IATA fare. The visualFares Ticketing module creates a ticket shell pertaining to the airline rules as entered in visualFares Entry or to the rules and information stored in the GDS and places it onto a free definable queue ready for printing.
VisualFares Flight Ticketing & Automator processes even the most complicated PNRs automatically for many different customer groups. Client data can be set to decide whether the ticket is to be issued in an active or passive PNR.
It can also be defined to forward a prepared PNR to branch offices which can perform the ticketing at a later point.
In addition to Point-of-Sale Ticketing, various forwarding information can be configured using the customer and queue settings. Countless configuration settings in visualFares Ticket Automation allow for precision workflow and a considerable reduction in the manual workload.
